So I made myself a new website on WordPress (fun!) with a new portfolio and the site has an integrated blog - I am so fancy. From now on, you can find new blog posts at http://kittenrocket.com/blog/. Thanks to everyone who has visited and supported this blog so far - I hope to see you "over there".

Show Poster
I recently made a poster for the maritime fall tour of two awesome Canadian bands - Paper Beat Scissors and Folly and the Hunter. I am deeply, deeply loving watercolour these days.

Cartographisme, Part Two
Bricolage Urbain's second public event was a map-making workshop with Mile End residents at Articule. Participants added interesting, fun, memorable, important and troublesome points to large scale maps. Everything from the best ice-cream shops to lane ways for wild flower picking were put "on the map".

Cartographisme, Part One
I have been working with a wonderful group of women in an urban collective called Bricolage Urbain. We just held our first series of events, in collaboration with the gallery Articule and a host of other interesting artists, activists and educators in the Mile End. Since we don't have a website set up yet, I thought I would post photos here.
In September, we presented a discussion evening at the gallery on the topic of social mapping.
